One of the most serious problems we have in American today is that there are few standards or absolutes. And those we do have are under constant attack of elimination.

Consider this.

Ever wonder where the word "deadline" came from? It came from an old-time prison term used before they had high security fences around the prisons. To keep prisoners in, a visible line was drawn around the prison and the inmates were told quite emphatically, "Cross that line and you'll be shot dead." Now that’s a deadline.

So, today, keep telling people, keep believing that there are no rules, no standards, keep telling and teaching your children there are no absolutes, no real deadlines, no consequences, and see where that gets us in our nation.
